I’ve been M.I.A. lately due to the fact that my wonderful sisters were in town for spring break! I had meant to get some shots of all four of us but that will have to wait till their next break :) However, after Chelsea’s spring break she went out of town for a bit to visit a grad school and I got to pick her up from the airport before she continued her journey back to school (so jealous she got to hit up NYC for a night to shop and see a musical!)
The weather here really keeps us on our toes (75 degrees one day and snowing two days later….) This was in a cooler weather phase.
I loved Chelsea’s airport chic ensemble and how she didn’t look like she just rolled out of bed, as many people do at airports today. I mean, come on people! Just because you’re getting on a plane does not give you the right to dress like you’re in your living room.
I was so excited to see her! Life is just so much better when they’re around.

Learn to Rock it:
Layering is key in chillier weather. You don’t want to go back to full-on winter clothes, yet you don’t want to freeze in your summer ones. Chelsea used a spring dress as her base and layered around it (jacket, scarf, jeans and boots) . A plus of traveling in combat boots, you save room in your suitcase! Her day was filled with planes, trains and automobiles, so she no doubt wanted to be comfortable as well.
